cool day event. FREE FOOD! Always good. Also free tour of ZF Factory.
Awesome cars from Z8's to 1960's BMW. Im hoping an m1 will be there because she didnt show up last year. THeres 2 i think active in the club. Lots of e30 m3's, 2002's, and other rare BMW's.

There is alos a section of the lot that is parts/items for sale. Sometimes you can find great deals.

Details on time coming soon. I usually have 2 or 3 cars in the show. Its not only older cars.. take a look at the gallery below.

It is going to be @ Z F Sales & Services Na Llc
777 Hickory Hill Drive, Vernon Hills, IL 60061-3182

Here we go...

Looks as though the country is split but that's not to say that it won't come here. Not that we would necessarily be subject to such a thing, but the fact that it exists......

> Air Intake Temp Sensor
Posted by ak350 - 08-25-10 15:31 - 5 comments
Wasnt sure where to post this so posting it in Asian Cars, since thats what I have.

For those of you that dont know me, I have an 04' 350z Touring 6sp, and it has been tastefully moddified. However, it just started throwing code for AITS and I searched all over my350z.com but couldnt find anything that stated clearly that you could or couldnt clean the AITS . The AITS is just inside the MAS and I got a quote from Libertyville Nissan that a replacement would be $300.

Does anyone know if it is possible to clean the sensor, and what to use to do so?

I was reading that I could try using regular electronics cleaners, becasue those wouldnt leave any residue, and could potentially do the trick, but no real confirmations.

Thanks for any imput, and no, continuing to reset the ECU or deleting the code (not you Cody) from the tune is not going to be the ressolution I'm looking for. (Because it only lasts a few miles after reset and deleting code wont help because the Z runs the variable fuel map bassed of the intake temps and the volume of air)

QUOTE (Synth19)
Sorry All, FNL is postponed until further notice. There will be no FNL @ Dave & Busters on Aug 20th. Management called me on my cell today and informed me. Disappointing for sure, but at least they give us over a week notice to get the word out.

Spread the word and let others know in case you posted this on another forum. thanks,

EL OH EL.

Excellent Wet-Clutch Performance
AMSOIL Synthetic SAE 60 Motorcycle Oil contains no friction modifiers and promotes smooth shifting and positive clutch engagement. It controls heat and helps prevent slippage and glazing, while its high TBN helps improve clutch life by resisting the acids that can degrade clutch material

Provides Extreme Pressure Quality Protection for Gears and Chains
With AMSOIL MCV, there is no need for separate transmission or primary chaincase lubricants. It is absolutely shear stable and will not thin out from mechanical activity. AMSOIL MCV performs like a gear lube without the negative effects of extreme pressure additives. In the FZG gear test, AMSOIL MCV achieved a perfect score with a “zero” wear rating.
